Is a computer simulation of rhinoplasty done?
The plan is drawn at the examination, from anatomy and standardised photographs, not from a filter. A computer simulation is not the basis of the decision and does not guarantee the outcome. The surgeon says what is feasible on your tissue.
What a simulation can do, and what it cannot
A simulation draws a picture. It does not draw skin, scar, swelling or healing. It can help the conversation stay with axis and profile. It cannot guarantee that your nose in a year will look like the picture on the screen.
A filter and an app do even less: they flatten the face, erase shadows and propose a nose that does not belong to your forehead and chin. That is why the plan is not drawn from a filter. Whoever decides from a screenshot is deciding from someone else’s algorithm.
The same picture on two different faces gives two different noses. A simulation often hides that. The examination must show it.
How the plan is made
At the examination photographs are taken in standard views, with an external analysis and endoscopy. The surgeon draws the plan from your anatomy: bridge, tip, columella, septum, valves. He says what is feasible and what would look arranged.
If you want someone else’s nose from a photograph, that is not an entry into simulation. It is a reason to say no. Someone else’s nose does not sit on your forehead, lip and chin. The examination is to see what is possible on your anatomy, not to copy another picture.
Thick skin, thin skin and an already operated nose change what a drawing may promise. That is why the same wish at two examinations does not become the same plan.
What to take from the examination
From the examination you take a clear plan and a cost outline for that scope, not a picture that “must” come out of theatre. If a simulation is still useful in the conversation, it remains a drawing, not a contract. The cost outline follows the scope of the procedure, not the number of pictures on the screen.
The final shape comes over months. Whoever compares an early nose with a simulation compares swelling with a drawing. Judgement belongs at the review, not at the screen. The first step then is still the same: an examination in Zagreb, not a new picture.

You may show what bothers you on your own nose. Someone else’s nose is not a template. The plan is drawn from your anatomy.
Does a simulation guarantee the outcome?
No. A drawing is not a contract. Skin, swelling and healing are not on the screen. The outcome is seen over months, at the review.
